The Middaugh Family Photos | Indian Wells | Sonia Stewart Photography

It's summertime. It's hot and humid. Yes, the desert gets humid, contrary to popular belief. On the day of this family photo shoot, it was 6:30pm about 109 degrees with 50% humidity. Really gross! And when you have family visiting from all over the country and just across the pond in England, this is quite a shocker! They did amazing job at pretending that the weather wasn't that bad. Pair that will my efficient style of photo sessions, we were done in 30 minutes and everyone was happy the whole time! We even got the dogs to participate without falling over from heat stroke. Haha! What matters is that times like these, where everyone is together in one spot, is rare! It doesn't happen enough so we have to take advantage of these times. Nobody will look at these pictures and think how hot it was, or how many bugs were eating us. These pictures will be adored because the cousins were together. And all the parents from both sides of the family. And all of mom's babies are together with their babies. It's amazing to look at your group of family and think...this all happened because of you!
