I was completely honored to have worked with Paulina Rojas from The Desert Sun! Her job was to profile my business and document what it takes to be successful. I have to credit Coachella Valley Women's Business Center based in Palm Desert. I attended their program in 2011 and graduated in 2012. They taught be all kinds of things about starting and managing a business. When I was done with the program, I had a full functional business plan!! I had goals set, made new friends, found inspiration, and my head was ready to burst with the hundreds of new things I learned. Paulina did an incredible job telling my story. The title "Photographer Makes 'Picture Perfect' Dreams a Reality." That could not have been described better! I came from a poor family. I lacked the richness of togetherness and family time. I was never pushed or motivated by my family to be successful. I had to do this on my own if I never wanted to be worried if I was going eat dinner that night, if I didn't want to move from place to place, if I didn't want the instability for myself.
